    Teen Voices is a program designed for teenagers who wish to explore their creativity within various roles of theater. Teens are mentored by professionals as they receive hands-on experience on theatrical production ranging from positions on-stage to positions backstage to technical operations. Teens will acquire skills such as set building, prop creation, choreography, vocal performance, acting and much more while expressing their creativity and collaborating with their peers to produce a theatrical show. Participants will have a chance to safely observe the surface of the sun, explore the ways our universe is expanding, build their own electroscope to detect static electricity, perform experiments with erosion, and much more! These fun activities introduce guests to the ongoing research happing at NASA in fields of heliophysics, Earth science, planetary science, and astrophysics and allow hands-on interaction with Earth and space science concepts.

    All Shook Up is a new musical comedy built around a number of songs made famous by Elvis Presley. it's NOT a biographical revue. It takes place in 1955, somewhere in middle America, where one girl's dream and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger help a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll. Among the 24 songs feature in the score are classics like "Heartbreak Hotel," "Love Me Tender," "Don't Be Crue," "Can't Help Falling in Love," and of course the title tune, "All Shook Up." Wines of the San Juan will be serving on Friday and Saturday nights. Padded seat covers can be rented prior to the performances.

    Join our nature center staff on a walk to observe and learn about dragonflies. We will catch a few for up-close study, as well as watch them in their river and wetlands habitat.
